Australian legend John Farnham is set to headline a charity show this year in support of Australian farmers affected by the current drought.
Farnham's manager Glenn Wheatley, confirmed to The Music that the gig, Hay Mate: Buy a Bale — A Concert For The Farmers, will go ahead on 27 October in Tamworth.
Fellow Aussie heavyweights Guy Sebastian and Adam Harvey are also confirmed to perform, with more acts still to be announced.
All of the money raised from the concert will go towards the drought-stricken farmers and their families.
More details for the event are expected to be announced later in the week.
The news comes only days after Farnham joined Celine Dion on stage during her Melbourne concert to perform his iconic hit, You're The Voice, with the global superstar.
He will next appear at Client Liaison's Expo Liaison event this Saturday in Melbourne; click on theGuide for more details.
