After revealing an epic '90s throwback line-up last month, the latest Newcastle event Scene & Heard has gone one step further, launching a fundraising initiative called A Farmers Day Out with the intention of helping out the farmers currently doing it tough in the drought.
Organisers are giving away a bunch of free tickets to rural Australians through an online ballot and will include donation tins at the event gates for charity Buy A Bale.
The inaugural Wickham Park event will be hosted by Frenzal Rhomb’s Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall, and has enlisted The Living End, Spiderbait and Something For Kate as headliners.
Farmers and rural workers can register for the ballot here and you can donate to the Buy A Bale supporters page here.
