Renowned for his work producing Patti Smith, The Band, Hall & Oates, Meat Loaf and countless more, music legend Todd Rundgren will visit Australia this October for a special run of shows.
Returning Down Under for the first time in five years, Rundgren will celebrate his 70th birthday and five decades in music, joined by Davey Lane’s Drunken Blue Roosters as a backing band.
They’ll perform four headline dates before visiting Todd-A-Roo, a massive three-day Cockatoo Island celebration in Rundgren’s honour hosted by Australian and US fans.
As well as helping reinvent pop and rock throughout the ’70s, ‘80s and beyond – through his producing and playing with Nazz and Utopia – Rundgren has had an extensive solo career, last year releasing his 27th solo record, White Knight.
