Brisbane outfit Confidence Man have been announced as the very first signing by new US publishing company, ZYNC Powered by Round Hill Music.
The company is a new venture between music licensing and publishing company, ZYNC and music rights company, Round Hill Music, which boasts an extensive catalog of music recorded and performed by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bruno Mars, Celine Dion and Katy Perry to name a few.
"From the very first time we heard their music, we knew they were sync gold and a perfect fit for our licensing forward publishing co-venture," ZYNC's Sanne Hagelsten said.
"ZYNC Powered by Round Hill Music has the stellar team and the focus to maximize their already massive upward trajectory via licensing. We are beyond thrilled they chose to believe in us as much as we believe in them."
Stu McCullough, owner and director of Amplifire Music and manager of Confidence Man, added, "The ZYNC team came to me with such enthusiasm for the band and their music it was undeniable.
"From my first chats with Marisa, Sanne and the wider team, it was clear they could communicate the energy, zeal and vigour the band bring to their writing and performance to the publishing and sync world. It felt like we had found our people."
Confidence Man are scheduled to perform at both the Snowtunes and Listen Out festivals this September; for more details, click on theGuide.
