Currently in Australia for Splendour In The Grass and some big headline shows, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite have today delivered the live music video for their track, The Bottle Wins Again, premiering worldwide on theMusic.com.au today.
Lifted from their March-released LP, No Mercy In This Land, the clip was filmed at The Machine Shop in Santa Monica, California and directed by J Garcia.
"[Garcia] designed the studio and made it comfortable for Charlie, myself and the band," Harper said of the music video.
"Though in a studio setting, there were some family and friends there, and I’ve always felt it’s harder to play in front of 20 people than it is 200 or 2,000, because it’s so intimate."

Harper also discussed the importance of The Bottle Wins Again in a recent chat with Charlie Pickering on ABC's The Weekly.
"As we were recording it, everybody in that room had had their own wrestling match and their own experience with alcohol, current and previous," he said.
"It was a little too raw. It was just too true. There was too much truth to the song to avoid it not being a cold look in the mirror."
