Queensland indie rock artist Tia Gostelow has unveiled her debut album and a run of launch shows for later this year.
Gostelow’s highly anticipated new LP, Thick Skin, will be released September 21 via her own label, Lovely Records, before the singer embarks on a supporting East Coast run in October and November.
Thick Skin follows on from a massive few years, kickstarted when Gostelow was only 16 by the release of acclaimed single State Of Art.
Since then she's gone onto receive numerous Queensland Music Awards nominations, signed a worldwide publishing deal with Native Tongue, toured and collaborated with The Rubens and more.
"This album has been in the works for about two years now and I can’t explain how excited I am for it to be out for everyone to hear,” Gostelow said.
“The songs on this record talk about my experiences over the past couple of years coming into and out of adolescence and I think it’ll resonate with so many people.”
