After teasing the track last week, Hilltop Hoods have just released new track Clark Griswold into the world.
The song is the first release in two years and features the soulful voice of emerging star Adrian Eagle who name checked the group in his track 17 Again last year.
In a statement the song is described as being about “becoming a father and taking account of our weaknesses as a result”.
“On a basic level it's about being a flawed person that's trying to do better.”
Acknowledging the drop falling on the spookiest day of the year other than Halloween, Hilltop Hoods have also released a video saying “dropping on Friday the 13th we thought we'd better at least try to incorporate some horror movie elements, albeit pretty tame”.
“As you watch the clip you see generation after generation of Dad's go missing.”
Check out the video below and don’t miss Hilltop Hoods at Splendour this year.
Clark Griswold is out now via HTH/UMA.
