As if the 2018 Splendour In The Grass line-up wasn’t big enough already, the festival has today revealed the return of its forum, science tent and comedy club.

The year’s massive music bill – featuring the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lorde and Vampire Weekend – will return to North Byron Parklands from 20 – 22 July, and they’ve spared no expense with the forum, comedy and science side of things.

The 18th annual music and arts festival will once again unpack some important and timely topics, with the forum program featuring a #metoo panel with Henry Rollins, Tracey Spicer and Stella Donnelly, while the comedy side of things is taken care of by Demi Lardner, Matt Okine, Aunty Donna, Becky Lucas, Tripod and more from Thursday to Sunday.

Marc Meets Rollins, Alex & Lauren will see The Feed host interview Rollins, Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos and CHVRCHES’ Lauren Mayberry, and there’ll also be film screenings, including Her Sound Her Story, which unveils “the personal experiences, histories and significant social impact women have had in the Australian music industry over the past 50 years”.

A Splendour Forum favourite, Q&A host Tony Jones will also return, to “thrash out the hot issues” with politicians, music industry personalities and more.
