Amy Shark Confirmed To Perform On Upcoming 'MTV Unplugged Melbourne' Series

With the Australian-first MTV Unplugged set to premiere later in the year, Amy Shark has today been announced as the second act to perform on the TV series. 

The Gold Coast songwriter will appear on the second episode (after Sydney's Gang Of Youths perform on episode one), which will be filmed in front of a live audience on Thursday 26 July at Melbourne's Cobblestone Pavilion.

"Amy is the epitome of an Australian music superstar and it’s that success both here and overseas that made her a clear choice as the next MTV Unplugged Melbourne artist selected for this historic series," Vice President and Head of MTV APAC, Simon Bates, said. 

The news comes just a little over a week out from the release of Shark's debut album, Love Monster, due out on 13 July.
