Tassie legends Luca Brasi have claimed the highest local debut on this week’s ARIA Albums charts, with their new record, Stay, landing at #10.

The local punk rockers will hit the road in August in support of their fourth record, a release that The Music described as “a well thought out, stunningly produced album that's certainly hard to fault”.

Stay’s entry to the Aussie charts tops that of the band’s 2016 effort, If This Is All We're Going To Be, which peaked at #18.

With their fast-approaching arena tour creeping up, pop rock royalty Panic! At The Disco claim #1 on the Albums chart with Pray For The Wicked, while last week’s chart toppers, 5 Seconds Of Summer, now sit at #6 with Youngblood.

After making history and breaking a near-seven year drought on the ARIA charts last week, 5SOS still hold onto #1 on the Singles chart with the album’s title track.

Sydney-based singer-songwriter Jack River sits just behind Luca Brasi on the Albums chart, with her first album, Sugar Mountain, debuting at #11, while Nine Inch NailsBad Witch (#9), Dan + Shay’s self-titled effort (#15) and Bebe Rexha’s Expectations (#19) also enter the Albums chart.
