'RocKwiz' To Search For Contestants For New York Special This Week

Ahead of the New York tribute live show in three weeks time, RocKwiz host Brian Nankervis will run his trademark contestant selection this week. 

Taking place at NGV International on Thursday night from 6.30pm, the four brightest and brainiest contestants will be selected to take part in the Hamer Hall live show on 20 July which will honour all things NYC. 

From Irving Berlin and Frank Sinatra to Patti Smith and The Ramones, New York City has long been a breeding ground for influential music and the backdrop to some of music’s most memorable moments. Nankervis, co-host Julia Zemiro, the RocKwiz orchestra and special guests will perform signature songs from the city's finest.

Special guests for the 20 July show include Megan Washington, Husky, L-FRESH The LION and Hailey Cramer.
