In support of the Ethan Hawke-directed biopic, Blaze, US actress Alia Shawkat will head to Australia this year for the Melbourne International Film Festival
Perhaps best known for her role as Maeby Fünke in the revived comedy series Arrested Development, Shawkat will take part in a MIFF Talks presentation this August to discuss her life, career and Blaze, based on the life of country musician Blaze Foley.
The film has received rave reviews following its premiere at this past January's Sundance Film Festival and is one of the standouts at this year's MIFF.
