Aussie punk rock outfit Bad Juju are quickly establishing themselves as a formidable force on the scene, and with the announcement of their debut EP, Hidden Desire, and an accompanying tour, they’ll soon be unstoppable.

The Victorian band were dubbed triple j Unearthed’s Feature Artist last week, following the release of Moving On earlier this year; a single that will feature on the July 13 EP alongside last year’s Moving On and Bloom.

“The record is themed around the idea that you can never truly know what is happening inside another person’s head,” the band said.

“They can seem fine on the outside and hide their true self.

Hidden Desire explores how people deal with loss, anxiety, and depression, but moves into pushing these issues aside and trying to change our lives for the better, thinking positively going forward.”

The Melbourne quartet will celebrate their debut EP with a hometown show the same day as release, supporting Trophy Eyes, before embarking on a headline tour in August.
