Australian music icon Ed Kuepper, aka founding member of seminal Australian acts The Saints and Laughing Clowns, has signed to ABC Music with his outfit The Aints.
The label plans to release the band's debut studio album sometime in spring. First hinted at as a "hypothetical" fourth Saints album back in December, the LP will be titled The Church Of Simultaneous Existence and made entirely of lost songs written by Kuepper from 1973-1978 but never recorded.
The Aints - which also comprises Peter Oxley (Sunnyboys) and Paul Larsen (The Celibate Rifles) - have also announced two Vic shows in the lead up to the album's release; one at Geelong’s Barwon Club, 23 Jun and the other a Melbourne's leg of the Reclink Community Cup on 24 Jun.
