After attracting 40,000 punters to its 2017 event, WAMFest is confirmed to return this year and plans to break its own record yet again

Alongside WAMCon coordinator Claire Hodgson and WAMAwards Coordinator Kate Branson, festival coordinators Mark Neal and Simon "Skinny" O'Leary are gunning to beat last years number of 304 local acts (representing 1.145 musicians).

WA's annual music night of nights, WAMAwards, is locked in for Thursday 1 November, which will be followed by two days of jam-packed events including WAMCon, the exclusive Quay Note Boat Party and of course the WAMFest Live Saturday which features a full day of free music events.

WAMFest has helped a number of local acts take their career to the next level including Methyl Ethel, Stella Donnelly, Tired Lion and Ziggy Ramo.
