Something For Kate frontman and national treasure Paul Dempsey has today announced a run of Victorian solo shows.
Dempsey will be kicking things off at Belgrave's Sooki Lounge on 2 Aug, then stopping by The Grand Hotel in Mornington and wrapping up at Theatre Royal in Castlemaine, plus Fraser A Gorman will be joining in as support.
2018 has already been a big one for Dempsey, with across Australia and Europe, but don't fret Something For Kate fans, an album is on its way.
"The Something For Kate album - we've started," he told theMusic back in February. "There's a couple of almost finished songs and a whole lot of not nearly finished songs, but there's a lot of pieces sitting around.
"I mean, I thought the second half of [2017] was going to be set aside and then the year just goes. Things come up and it's like, 'Okay, well, it's almost Christmas.' It'll just come together as it comes together."
Tickets for Dempsey's solo shows go on sale Wednesday 6 June; head to theGuide for more info.
