Australia's biggest horsepower party, Summernats, will make its return in 2019 and it's bringing some massive names along for the ride.

Confirmed to perform at the Canberra's Exhibition Park from 3-6 January next year includes Brisbane's Dune Rats, hip hop acts 360 and Butterfingers and DJ Brooke Evers.

"I'm psyched to hit Canberra for Summernats," 360 said.

"I haven’t been for years, so I’m pumped to get back up there and absolutely smash a set. I’m a big fan of Dune Rats too, so it’s gonna be a sick event.

As well as the impressive music-line-up, Summernats plans to take back its world record for the largest simultaneous burnout; after 119 cars in Saudi Arabia beat the 'Nats previous record of 103, the ACT festival has plans to get at least 120 cars burning rubber come January 2019.

More than 100,000 people are expected to Summernats 2019, which will display 2000 cars across the multi-day event.
