A number of songwriting forums will be held around the country this Wednesday and Thursday to coincide with Reconciliation Week.
Programmed in part by APRA AMCOS’ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team, the free events will be open to the public, with the likes of Leah Flanagan, Emily Wurramara, Kutcha Edwards, Miranda Garling and more talking inspiration, audience connection and legacy before opening things up to a Q&A.
“The songwriters involved all have very different stories to tell and experiences to speak to,” APRA AMCOS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Representative Michael Hutchings said.
“The events offer a unique opportunity to see and hear how the songwriters develop and nurture their craft.”
