Australian comedian and TV personality Wil Anderson has backed comments he made on a recent episode of his podcast in which he described his radio show, Triple M’s Hot Breakfast, a “fucking mess”.
In a podcast interview last week where 2DAY FM radio host Em Rusciano caused a stir with comments about her own station, Anderson also took aim at Triple M, stating he had been given “an old car that’s out of warranty and I’ve done my best to get it running better than it was running".
Anderson went on to say that the show went to air with a lack of meetings and required more time management control, adding he hasn't “fixed” it, but has “patched up some of it”.

On this morning’s Triple M broadcast co-hosts Eddie McGuire and Luke Darcy confronted Anderson about the podcast remarks, playing back sections that have since been removed.
On hearing the playback, Anderson said, “I feel like that does misrepresent what I actually think about this wonderful show as you well know,” but did add that he stands by his comments.
“I must admit that’s the first time I’ve heard it, sounds a bit worse than what I remembered.”
The inflammatory comments have since been edited out of the podcast.
