Just a year after they were signed locally to EVP Records, Melbourne's Pagan have penned a deal with the UK's Hassle Records.
The label boasts the likes of Frank Iero, Casey, Brutus and a heap more, and they say "can't wait to dig in" and work with the band.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be able to announce the signing of Pagan for UK/Europe, a band we’ve had a close eye on for about a year now. We saw the impact they were making with their self-released tracks within the scene and media in Australia - it’s a scene that looks incredibly healthy right now from all the way over here in the UK!" said Mease of Hassle Records.
"For us, Pagan really stand out; with their exceptional riff driven punk rock, but also the culture they’re building around the band and their blistering live shows - a view into which we get on the new video for Death Before Disco. The band, alongside Mike Deslandes, have done an incredible job creating this debut album, which has turned out even better than we could have hoped. We can’t wait to dig in and work hard with both the band and EVP to introduce them over here in Europe."
Along with the signing announcement, the band have also shared that they'll be releasing their debut album, Black Wash, on 6 July, and have just dropped the aforementioned new video for their track, Death Before Disco. Check it out below.
