The ultimate yass queen herself, Ilana Glazer, is heading Down Under next month for her Aussie stand-up debut.
The Broad City co-creator and star will be performing at Melbourne's Hamer Hall on 9 June, as part of the new MEL&NYC festival.
A former member of the iconic Upright Citizens Brigade comedy troupe, Glazer and her creative partner Abbi Jacobson gained a cult following for Broad City when the then-web series was picked by Comedy Central, with the help of Upright Citizens Brigade founder Amy Poehler.
The MEL&NYC festival is "an unprecedented program of events that explore culture, politics, business and everyday experience seen through the eyes of leading New Yorkers and Australians," and is bringing together the likes of Regina Spektor, John Cameron Mitchell and Kimbra to perform across the event.
