Toronto-based punk rocks The Flatliners will return to Australia later this year in support of their latest album, 2017’s Inviting Light.
Their October tour dates come off the back of extensive international touring around the release of their fifth studio LP.
“Inviting Light is about trying to keep up with life around you but also wading through the potential bullshit of people thinking that a digital landscape is more important than their friends,” frontman Chris Cresswell said.
“It’s inevitable that you’re fighting for people’s attention now, whether you’re a band or an individual, and there’s not as much value placed on face-to-face human interaction as there is in elevating the profile.”
They’ll kick things off mid-October in Brisbane before tackling the rest of the East Coast and Adelaide.
