Ticketmaster has expanded it's Artist Services into Australia and New Zealand with the appointment of Kane Kete to the position of Artist Services Manager.

The move signals a commitment from the company, which falls under the Live Nation Entertainment umbrella, to empower artists and give them greater control over their ticketing.

"We are building a team here that can help an artist from the very start of their careers when they hit the clubs, and grow with them all the way to theatres, arenas and stadiums,"  Managing Director of Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand Maria O’Connor said.

"Our Artist Services team will be rolling out our fan-first products such as Verified Fan, which are redefining the ticket buying experience and giving artists greater control."

Kane previously held the position of Marketing Manager — Ticketing before the move and has been with the company for six years.

“It’s good to be back where I started my career and now working in the Artist Services division which has a proven track record of delivering a number of successful campaigns for artists," Kane said.

"I look forward to dealing with promoters, managers and agents here in Australia and New Zealand to really maximise opportunities for artists when artists go on the road.”
