Australia’s festival state delivers once again, today detailing the 2018 Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival program.
Featuring a slew of local emerging acts and acclaimed international performers, the 11th annual festival will consume 15 venues across the city from 1 – 24 June.
Cabaret star Pamela Shaw leads this year’s bill, returning to SA with Naughty, a musical that puts a twist on classic songs from Rickie Lee Jones, Amanda McBroom and more and received a wealth of praise at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Perth madman Tomás Ford has also been confirmed, bringing with him multiple shows, while local acapella group Allegria After Dark will perform in Adelaide’s Treasury Tunnels, Kitty Van Horne delivers cabaret adventure iDenTITTY, Studio Flamenco present Recuerdos and more.
“With a breathtaking bevy of wonderful performers showcasing the breadth and talent of the Cabaret Fringe, it’s time to dust off those top hats, preen those feathers and get primed for another wonderful festival season – viva la Cabaret Fringe,” Cabaret Fringe Festival Director Paul Boylon said.
