Parkway Drive are on their way to consecutive #1 Aussie albums with new LP, Reverance, according to midweek ARIA chart figures.
The Byron Bay metalcore outfit's sixth record is predicted to debut in the top three and is the clear favourite to take out #1, following on from their 2015 album, Ire, which also debuted at the top of the list.
However, given Post Malone's dominance on the charts last week, it is expected Parkway Drive will have to compete with the US rapper's Beerbongs & Bentleys to claim #1.
Meanwhile US singer Leon Bridges' Good Thing and Sydney band Middle Kids' Lost Friends are both predicted to debut in the top ten.
Other album debuts this week come from Shinedown with Attention Attention (top 30) and Jon Hopkins' Singularity (top 40).
Over on the Singles chart, it's likely Post Malone will retain #1 with Psycho, but you should expect to see Australian acts — 5 Seconds Of Summer's Youngblood and Amy Shark's I Said Hi — climb into the top ten and 15 respectively.
Fellow Aussie Troye Sivan's new single, Bloom, is predicted to land in the top 30.
