Melbourne's High Tension Announce Australian Album Tour

Heavy metal quartet High Tension have announced a national tour on the back of their upcoming album Purge.

The run of shows will kick off with a performance in Tassie for Dark Mofo's Night Mass before the band moves on to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

The LP is slated for release on 15 June with the new cut signalling a change in sound for the four-piece following the addition of guitarist Mike Deslandes and drummer Lauren Hammel.

“It was inevitable that we were going to produce a record unlike our previous work; with Lauren and Mike joining the band, our natural response was to reshape our sound,” the band said.
