Blues-rock troubadour William Crighton is electrifying your Thursday with the release of his latest LP Empire, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
The album is a unique collection of tunes soaked in familiar Australiana vibes and inflated by Crighton's rock sensibilities and a solid command over evocative lyricism. The record exemplifies a musician knowing exactly what he's doing with his craft.
"This album is a result of doing what I've always loved to do and will
always do - write songs about
my experiences and relationships in the environment around me."

"This album is a result of doing what I've always loved to do and will always do - write songs about my experiences and relationships in the environment around me," Crighton said.
"My last album was the first time I was able to really look back and examine myself and my life in context. I guess I'll get more of a picture of what this album is to me the closer I get to the next one, it felt right to make."
To celebrate the release of the new cut, Crighton is hitting the road for an extensive Australian tour throughout July and August.
Tickets are on sale now; for more information, head to theGuide.
