Submissions have now opened for this year's Clipped Music Video Festival, Australia's foremost celebration of Antipodean music video talent.
There are 14 categories in all, from direction to colour grading, with $17,000 in prizes up for grabs. Each entry will be considered by five online judges, including Academy Award-winning Cinematographer Jeff Croenenweth, and the top 22 will be shortlisted, showcased and judged live at the Clipped awards ceremony this 2 Jun at Carriageworks. Another 28 Australian clips will also be selected and exhibited at the event.
There will also be several guest speakers from across the industry, such as artist and director Jesse Kanda, MusicSA General Manager Laura Bishop and Sarah Blasko.
All record labels, musicians and filmmakers are encouraged to enter their videos before the final submission date, 7 May.
