Process Lab is the brand new Arts Centre Melbourne workshop series that will see Australian electronic artists lead sessions on the musical process.
Following the success of the original workshops in 2017, the new series will present two events for aspiring musicians this May.
Melbourne producer Emah Fox will demonstrate how she builds her songs in real time at her workshop, Electronic Music Production & Performance.
While musician/engineer Robert D Jordan's workshop Building The Yowler Mini Synthesizer will allow attendees to learn how to construct their own self-contained synth.
"We listened to the feedback from our attendees who attended Process last October and there was a clear desire for longer-form, more in-depth creative workshops," Arts Centre Melbourne Creative Program Manager David Rogers said.
We’re proud to be offering the public the chance to work with such an interesting array of music makers and sound artists”.
