US rapper Lil Dicky has confirmed he will be heading Down Under this year in what will be his debut tour of the country.

The LA-based songwriter will tour the country's east coast in July, with shows slated in for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The tour announcement follows the release of Lil Dicky's latest single, Freaky Friday, with its video (featuring cameos from the likes of Ed Sheeran and DJ Khaled) racking up over 50 million views in just 12 days.

General public tickets for the Australian tour go on sale from 10am local time on Monday 9 April; for more details, head over to theGuide.
