Record Store Day 2018 is right around the corner and excitement is high as Deputy Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, aka DJ Albo, announces the official ambassadors
Taking the reins for the 11th year of the event will be revered Australian music promotor Michael Chugg and treasured Aussie musos Dan Sultan and Amber Lawrence.
The annual event celebrates the community of the record store, where indie record stores throw open their doors to entice the community in with treasure hunts, in-store appearance, parties, vinyl crate digging and much more.
As has become tradition in the last decade, multiple record companies are planning a series of limited edition vinyl releases from the likes of Courtney Barnett, Jebediah and more to celebrate the day .
Record Store Day will take place worldwide on Saturday 21 April.
