The Chills frontman Martin Phillipps has announced an exclusive Melbourne performance for next month.

The legendary New Zealand musician will curate a matinee solo performance at Northcote Social Club at the end of April, taking fans through his illustrious career.

Phillipps rose to prominence in the '80s with The Chills for such classics as Pink Frost, Heavenly Pop Hit and I Love My Leather Jacket.

After a hiatus in the ‘90s due to health problems, the band picked up again in the new millennium to a fresh generation of fans.
