Listen Up! Nominations For The Gold Coast Music Awards Close This Week

The fourth annual Gold Coast Music Awards are approaching fast with nominations for all major awards closing this Friday.

Having already helped boost the profiles of artists like Amy Shark, Jesswar and Lastlings, the awards are on the lookout for the next crop of GC superstars.

Nominations for Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Breakout Artist of the Year, Event of the Year, Live Act of the Year, Song of the Year, Venue of the Year and Video of the Year will close on March 2.

ICYMI, this year’s event will be hosted by none other than musical mastermind Dom Alessio who is stoked to be heading up the evening.

"It feels like a really exciting time for the City's music scene and I'm honoured to have been asked to host the awards this year. I can't wait to be there to celebrate Gold Coast music,” Alessio said.
