Revered Melbourne producer, DJ Kuya (real name Arsenio Fabay) is confirmed to have passed away.
The three-time Victorian DMC State champion's label, The Operatives, confirmed the news in a statement posted to its Facebook.
"A true general has fallen and we are devastated," the post reads.
"Kuya we love you bro."
Fabay was a hugely popular and in-demand artist. As well as supporting the likes of Public Enemy and DJ Krush, he was asked to perform at MONA owner David Walsh's 50th birthday party in 2011.
Fabay released his debut EP last year.
Many have paid tribute to the beloved DJ following the news of his passing.
