ICYMI, Prince's Sister, Tyka Nelson, Is Joining The Australian Tribute Tour

Tyka Nelson, the sister of iconic artist Prince, has joined the team for tribute show Nothing Compares 2 Prince.

The shows will hit Australian shores in late April; just one week after the anniversary of Prince’s passing and Nelson jumped at the opportunity to honour her brother and his fans.

"I am very excited about coming to Australia to celebrate the life of my brother," Nelson said.

"Prince loved your country and enjoyed playing there! I look forward to joining the other wonderful singers and musicians on stage, and I hope to see and hug as many of Prince’s fans as I can off-stage!"

The concerts in Sydney and Melbourne will mark the first time the O’Neal has sung with the tour, making it an Australian exclusive.

The tour will also feature Prince’s protégé St Paul Peterson, former musical director and keyboardist Cassandra O’Neal and Morris Day & The Time guitarist Tori Ruffin among others.
