After screening to critical acclaim in 2016, Australian audiences will get to relive the magic of Planet Earth II live in concert this year.
Touring through Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in April and May, the celebrated BBC Earth series will be projected onto a giant screen with live orchestral accompaniment.
The footage is set to an incredible score by Oscar Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, as well as Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe and performed by four of Australia's leading orchestras with conductor Vanessa Scammell.
“Planet Earth II is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever been involved in: some of the greatest action scenes ever put on film, some of the most emotional, epic, fragile scenes I’ve ever witnessed," Zimmer said.
"Filmmaking at its absolute peak."
General public tickets for the tour go on sale from 3pm on Tuesday 20 February; for more details, click on theGuide.
