'Spinal Tap' Star Gives You Am I's Upcoming Themed-tour The Thumbs Up

You Am I have received the ultimate blessing from above as they prepare to embark on their Spinal Tap themed national tour.

Following the announcement this week that the iconic Australian band will be hitting the road on their The Majesty Of Tap tour, Tim Rogers and Co. have gotten the green light from none other than Spinal Tap lead singer and legendary US actor Michael McKean.

The former SNL star reached out via Twitter, first declaring that he deemed the tour “so cool” before commanding that the band “rise and shred”.

You Am I’s Spinal Tap tour kicks off at the end of March and will hit up Belgrave, Brisbane and Melbourne before wrapping it up in Sydney.
