The QUBE Effect is back for another round in 2018, which will see some of Brisbane's best acts perform 20-minute sets as part of the city's contemporary youth program.

Taking place during Youth Week (7-14 April), the program seeks to find Brisbane's best new talent and gives artists the platform to perform live, as well as provide promotional and developmental opportunities.

24 groups, including soloists, duos and bands, will be shortlisted by an industry panel and take on a six-month program that includes video clip filming, industry networking, management workshops, prizes and more.

Registrations are open now — 50% of an applicant's act must be aged between 12-25 years — and close at 5pm on Friday 16 February.
