Sydney alt-pop four-piece Tigertown have announced toda  that they’re calling it quits, just three months after the release of EP Warriors.

The move was revealed this morning in a heartfelt statement posted to the band's Facebook that also hinted at solo project music in the future.

“After 7 incredible years, the Tigertown story is coming to an end. The four of us are so proud of everything we have done on this journey, but we all feel it has reached its final destination,” the band said in the statement.

“We are all continuing to create music, together and separately, but we are excited to just be family again.”

Tigertown is comprised of husband and wife duo Chris and Charlie Collins, Chris' brother, Alexi and sister, Elodie.

To bid adieu to their fans, the gang have announced a final farewell show at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory in April.
