On the back of their September-released album, Forgetting The FutureBritish India are set to embark on a brand new chapter with the announcement that they've signed a worldwide licensing deal with New York indie label, AntiFragile.

The Melbourne band's sixth LP will be released through the label after AntiFragile director, Tom Sarig, discovered them online.

"I am thrilled and honored to be working with British India and their team," Sarig said.

"Who says rock is dead? I don’t think so. We think British India is a band that can become a major rock act around the world."

The new partnership will see Forgetting The Future be British India's first international release.

Frontman Declan Melia said the four-piece are "honoured" to be joining AntiFragile, which already boasts the likes of Dan Sultan and Tia Gostelow on its roster.

"It's a great roster and they're real music fans and that's important," Melia said.

"Can I quote Tom Petty? 'Into the great wide open' we go!"

The signing comes after fan-favourite cut from the record, Midnight Homie, was revealed as British India's new single; check it out below.
