This 7-8 Feb, Pause Fest is turning Federation Square into one of Australasia's premier destinations for innovative business, tech and design ideas once again.

Founded by George Hedon in 2011, each year Pause Fest gathers leading global and local thinkers to "listen, participate, collaborate" and explore everything from VR and AI to branding and marketing. In 2018 they've continued the trend, with headlining speakers from businesses including Netflix, NASA, T-Hub, Change Catalyst, IBM, Amazon, Tech Crunch and Canva T, as well as immersive workshops, demonstrations, panels and even interactive audiovisual installations.

The festival is followed by the Pause Retreat, on 10 & 11 Feb in the Otway Ranges, where people will have a chance to pick the brains of industry insiders such as Emmy Award-winning Creative Director Gwen Gordon, Pixar's Brian Green, Mike Butcher from Tech Crunch, and Michael Sui from Airbnb.
