Adelaide rockers The Hard Aches are wasting no time getting stuck into their good news announcing the details for their sophomore album and a huge national tour.
Following on from last year’s shattering single Brain Dead, the band have dropped the details of their upcoming second LP entitled Mess, due for release 13 April, as well as delivering the title track to fans.
“Mess comes from a place of hope, a feeling of knowing that everything is going to be ok regardless of how hard it might be sometimes,” vocalist Ben Davis explains.
This central theme of the single bleeds out into the rest of the album as Davis details.
“Our brand-new album is a collection of songs inspired by the people around us and the experiences we've all shared together or apart,” Davis said.
“Written with a focus on mental health in a hopeful and positive light.”
To celebrate the album release the boys are kicking off a national album tour in April, hitting Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane before wrapping up in Perth.
Tickets to The Hard Aches Mess Album Tour are on sale from Monday 5 February; for more information, swing by theGuide.
