Fans who headed along to Foo Fighters' concert in Melbourne last night were left fuming after kilometre-long queues resulted in the set being delayed.
As Herald Sun reports, lines to get into Etihad Stadium stretched back to the LaTrobe and Spencer St intersection, with some claiming they were waiting for two hours.
As a result, the show's start time was pushed back by 30 minutes.

What’s going on @EtihadStadiumAU. Entry lines hundreds of metres long, slinking all the way from gate seven back down Spencer St for #foofighters. Never seen this before pic.twitter.com/YFZMpsakmE

End of the queue to get into Etihad general admission is on the corner of Spencer and LaTrobe. Literally in another suburb. Got here 40 mins early. Going to miss start of show. Devastated. #foofighters #etihadstadium @EtihadStadiumAU #isurvivedgate7 #gate7 @foofighters

An Etihad Stadium spokeswoman said the line outside of gate seven was due to increased security measures which the band allegedly requested.
"They requested additional security so we’re following their security protocol because fan safety is paramount," the spokeswoman said.
"The lines are definitely long but we’re moving them through quickly."
The concert was attended by an estimated 46,000 people.
