Fremantle’s been producing world-quality acts for decades, so it’s not surprising its venues are rich with history.
Iconic live music venue Railway Hotel has hosted a slew of emerging and established artists from across the globe over the years, and with its outdoor beer garden receiving a massive upgrade, you can expect a lot more killer line-ups on the horizon.
Owners have installed a dedicated outdoor sea-container bar in an effort to further establish the space a solid live music venue during the summer months, and a deck has also been installed with a great view of the stage.
The outdoor area has also been given a new paint job and a lighting upgrade.
“It’s one of the few remaining real pubs and a hidden gem,” venue booker Luke Rinaldi said of the 100-year-old venue.
“The Garden is really one of the best outdoor band venues in WA, there’s really not much else like it.
“We hope to increase the profile of the acts playing in the Garden Bar, and we’re off to a great start.”
The new-look Railway has already secured the likes of Kim Salmon, End Of Fashion, Ash Grunwald and more as it re-launches, with a slew of local legends also confirmed for gigs and more announces expected soon.
“Naturally it’ll be mainly a summer venue, however, with a bit more cover over certain areas now we can hopefully operate with shows out there a little longer each year.”
