Queensland songwriters have been gifted with a one-week extension for the 2018 Queensland Music Awards.
The new deadline for submission is midnight on Sunday 28 January (mark it down, people), while entries for the 2018 Billy Thorpe Scholarship have also been pushed forward.
The $10,000 award, which enables an emerging artist or band to record with an established producer and receive career advice from a Chugg Entertainment representative, can be applied for through the QMusic website before it also closes at midnight on Sunday 28 January.
