The Hobart DJ charged for headbutting Tony Abbott last year has pleaded guilty in court today.
As 9News reports, Astro 'Funknukl' Labe appeared at Hobart Magistrates Court to plead guilty to the charge of causing harm to a commonwealth official after initially being charged with common assault.
The charge has been upgraded to a federal offence and carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence.
The court heard Labe followed the former Australian Prime Minister for about 250 metres and offered to shake his hand before assaulting him on 21 September.

It was reported that Labe was wearing a badge supporting marriage equality at the time of the attack, however the DJ has insisted his actions were not based on the recent same-sex marriage vote.
"I must state in no uncertain terms that this has nothing whatsoever to do with marriage equality," Labe said the day after the incident.
"For all intents and purposes legally I'm remorseful.
"This was nothing to do with the Yes campaign, I'm not a campaigner, I'm a lone anarchist that felt the need to headbutt Tony Abbott because I didn't think it was an opportunity I'd get again."
Labe will be sentenced on 22 March.
