Aussie legend Darren Hayes is leading the charge against Cory Bernardi's controversial Australia Day playlist, dubbed as an "alternative to Triple J 'Hottest 100' after they abandoned Australia Day".
The leader of the Australian Conservatives announced the Spotify playlist on Twitter last night, which has since been widely slammed.

Hayes was one of many to call out Bernardi, demanding iconic Savage Garden track, To The Moon & Back, be removed from the playlist.
"I don't support your party, values or views," Hayes tweeted.
"Remove my music from your promotions. You do not have permission to use my music."
Bernardi was quick to respond to the singer, tweeting back, "Get over yourself @darrenhayes. Music is for everyone".

The Australian Conservatives have asked people to vote for their favourite songs on the list; a move which has been used against them by those opposed.
