The Rubens have kicked back at controversial ticket resale outlet Viagogo after it was revealed that tickets to their upcoming tour were going for triple their original price.
In a scathing statement posted to Facebook, the band tore into the ticket reseller.
“We REALLY hate Viagogo. They exist to rip you off, take your hard earned cash, and let scalpers take advantage of all aspects of a show they have nothing to do with,” they said..

“A whole bunch of people out there have paid $222 for a ticket that is $76. This is thanks to Viagogo and their dodgy profiteering. This is completely wrong, and we have no idea how this is still legal. Fuck Viagogo.”
Viagogo was taken to court by the ACCC in August of last year.
Tickets to The Rubens Australian tour are on sale now from legitimate vendors; for more information, head to theGuide.
