Metal fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of US rockers Mastodon since the release of their Emperor Of Sand album last year, and if an appearance at Download Festival in March wasn’t enough, they’ve just confirmed two headline gigs to satisfy East Coast punters.
The Georgia heavy metal act will stop by Sydney’s Big Top and Brisbane’s Eatons Hill after their appearance at the Melbourne-based festival, and they’ll be joined by French quartet Gojira on both gigs.

Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, January 19, at 10am.
