Celebrating WA’s vibrant and eclectic music scene, WAM has detailed this year’s Song Of The Year.

Submissions for the annual awards open on Monday, January 15, with the state’s music body searching state-wide for the best songs released over the past year.

There’s more than $45,000 worth of prizes up for grabs across numerous categories and genres, including cash, studio time, tickets, merch and more.

Last year saw 19-year-old muso Sydnee Carter take out the grand prize, with Rag N Bone, Tobacco Rat and more also scoring accolades.

Entries close February 12 and you can find more information via the WAM website.
